NV Bags & Accessories Ltd

Terms & Conditions – Effective Jan 1 st 201 7

Deliveries – UK Mainland (Excluding Scottish Highlands)

  • Minimum order is £115.00 ex VAT
  • A carriage paid order to the UK mainland is £300.00 ex VAT
  • A £10.00 carriage charge is payable if an order is under £300.00 ex VAT
  • Additional carriage costs will be incurred if any order is requested to be split over two or more deliveries and under £300.00 per drop.

Deliveries – Scottish Highlands and Islands (2 day service)

  • Minimum order is £150.00 ex VAT
  • A carriage paid order to Scottish Highlands and Islands does not apply
  • Cost per carton is £16.00 delivered. N.V. Bags & Accessories will however ONLY charge £6.00 per parcel (We will always endeavour to keep carriage costs to a minimum by packaging the maximum quantity of pieces per carton )
  • Postcodes include:: AB31 – 38, AB41 – 56, FK17 – 21 , HS1 – 9 , G83, IV (all), KA27 – 28, KW1 – 17 PA20 – 80, PH15 – 50, ZE1 – 3

Deliveries – Eire & Northern Ireland (2 day service) Channel Islands & Isle of Man

  • Minimum order is £150.00 ex VAT
  • Orders under £300.00 ex VAT will incur a £12.00 minimum delivery charge
  • Orders over £300.00 ex VAT will incur a discounted delivery charge of £4.00 per carton . (We will always endeavour to keep carriage costs to a minimum by packaging the maximum quantity of pieces per carton )
  • (Actual cost per delivered carton is £8.00 for 2 or more , flat rate charge of £12.00 for a single carton. )

Payment terms

  • All deliveries are invoiced in GBP
  • 30 days nett
  • 5% early settlement discount if invoice paid within 7 days of receipt (this excludes any sale items)
  • Accepted payment forms;

1.. Cheque – payable to N.V. Bags & Accessories Ltd

2.. Bacs payment

A/C No. 61372084

Ref – Please use A/C number or A/C name

3. Debit card / Credit card

  • Should an A/C reach 60 days we reserve the right to;

1.. Automatically refer to our debt collection agency for recovery of the debt including any and all costs or instruct our solicitors to proceed with court proceedings for the small claims court.

2.. Charge interest at 2% per month

Legal title to the goods shall not pass to the buyer unless the seller has been paid in full

Returns Policy

  • Any faulty goods will be credited in part or in full depending on their condition when returned / viewed.
  • No credits will be issued for goods over 12 months old ( i.e. 2 seasons old )

Due to the recent increases by Royal Mail it is now no longer financially viable to refund the postage for customer returns.

We ask that you hold on to faulty bags until such time that either;

1.. Your Area Sales Agent/Rep can collect it

2.. You have enough faulty bags (6 or more) to warrant us sending in our courier to collect a box

Please send us a photo (if possible) of the damaged bag or show it to your Area Sales Agent /Rep and we will make a decision as to whether the bag can be destroyed and credited or if a discount can be offered

We realise that this is not an ideal situation and would very much appreciate your support in this matter.

Shortage Claim

We make every effort to ensure that shortages do not occur on deliveries and have procedures in place to this effect. In the unlikely event that you do receive a delivery with a shortage you MUST inform NV Bags within 48 hours . Liability for shortages outside of this time frame will not be accepted.

New Accounts

  • A new account application form MUST be fully completed before any goods are released
  • If part of a multiple ALL addresses where stock will be sold MUST be submitted. This can be notified by email – andy@nvbags.co.uk
  • The home address of the business owner MUST be completed on the new account form if a partnership or sole trader
  • The first order must be for a minimum of £150 ex VAT
  • Proforma payment for the first order must be received before any goods are despatched if no new account form approved and until such time as a trading history is established
  • Subject to successful application a 30 day account will be opened with the terms as described above
  • By completing a new account application form you are giving permission for a search to be made by a Credit Referencing Agency on your Business and, if your Business is not a Limited Company, on yourself
